From Two Paths To One Vision
What happens when two people with a passion for transforming spaces join forces? You get K&K Interior Design Studio. We've always loved creating spaces that truly support and reflect the people who live in them, seeing potential where others might not. In fact, we fell in love while imagining how to transform a space (but that's for another day).
We are Karen & Konrad: partners in life, in design, and in everything in between.
Before launching K&K, our backgrounds followed very different paths. Karen spent years as a psychotherapist, helping people understand the emotional impact of their environments. Konrad, a skilled carpenter, built a career crafting bespoke joinery solutions that seamlessly blend style and function.
As we designed and developed our own home and helped others do the same, we realised something powerful: design isn't just about how a space looks; it's about how it makes you feel. That understanding led us to merge our skills and turn our passion into something more.
The Turning Point
In 2021, Karen formally retrained as an Interior Designer, bringing together design expertise and deep psychological insight to shape homes with intention. In 2024, K&K Interior Design Studio became a limited company, offering thoughtfully designed interiors with well-being at the heart of every space.
